- Heroic figures have D6+10hp
- « COMBAT CLASH » roll 2D6 — deal damage equal to lowest roll | if enemy survives, take damage equal to difference
- Or « PLAY SAFE » set one dice to any value before rolling, but take damage before you deal any
- « ARMOUR FACTOR » sets a floor for your hp, which it won’t drop below unless a strike takes you to 0hp
- Unarmoured AF1 | Leather AF2 | Chain AF3 | Plate AF4
- « THREAD THE NEEDLE » for delicate or careful tasks, roll above your AF
- « ENEMY ORDERS » units not controlled by the player seek to (1) outnumber their enemy at the closest objective (2) engage and take down closest enemies
- « SORTIES » roll D6 — (1) protect the king (2) escort the package (3) lure out the enemy (4) defend the peninsula (5) cut off their retreat (6) pick two
